We specialize in wedding parties. We can also provide luxurious overnight accommodations for your guests by setting up a room block for your wedding group. We are mentioned in the May 2005 Southern Living as their "favorite lodging"in Athens. Our unique boutique style hotel rooms make a wonderful home away from home for your out of town guests. It makes the weekend just that much more special when everyone is one place!
Wedding Guest Sleeping Room Block
- Blocks can range in size from 5-25 rooms
- There is no charge or fee to set-up a room block, only a credit card number is required.
- When you block rooms you receive coupons for 10% off in the Hoyt House Restaurant, The Spa and The Athens Steam Company Pub which you can give to all of your guests as an extra perk.
- A special rate is offered for your guests, which is substantially lower than our average weekend rate.
- When your guests call the front desk to make reservations, they just need to mention the name of your block, typically the bride's last name and the groom's last name, to get the special rate. Your guests can also book their reservations online through reservations@foundryparkinn.com
- We will send you a list of the reservations in your block periodically.
- Thirty days to three weeks prior to your arrival date, any unused rooms will be released back into our inventory to sell to the general public.
- We are happy to distribute gift bags for your guests if you deliver them to the front desk 24 hours prior to your guest's arrival.
- We can also arrange a hospitality suite for your wedding party.
Wedding Related Event Details
- First priority is given to events with hotel room blocks; however there are dates that the hotel is already booked and we can book banquet space without a hotel room block.
- To book event space requires a $200 deposit per banquet space which is non-refundable. This deposit will go towards your final bill.
- An additional deposit of 50% of the estimated total of your event is due two weeks prior to your event. The final bill must be settled immediately following your event.
- Deposits can be made by cash, check or credit card.
- Room rental includes tables, chairs, and linens in our house colors of taupe, black or white. It also includes house centerpieces of glass hurricane shades with candles and all of the dishware, glassware, flatware that you will need for your event.
- All amplified music must end by 11:30 p.m. on the property.
- Your guaranteed number of guests is due 3 days prior to your event.
